Per Little League International rules, the safety of our players, and the liability to our league any person who has not completed the following is NOT permitted in the dugout or on the field of play, during evaluations, practices or games. No exceptions. If you would like to participate in the operations of our league or a team you must complete the following prior to the start of the season (all trainings are free):

To apply to volunteer for the 2025 season:

•You must register through this website, see the bottom of the page for the sign-up link.

•You will receive a link via email to begin your JDP Little League background check.

*LiveScan fingerprinting take about 10 minutes to complete. They can be done at 2 locations. Please make an appointment with-
the Bishop PD office (760-873-5866) OR
the Inyo County Office of Education (760-873-3262 x2110)
to have this done at your earliest convenience. This MUST be completed before you can enter the field or the dugout, even at evaluations. You MUST print out and use the form in the link above. It has the correct information to allow your scan to attach to our league, and BLL will cover the fee associated with the fingerprinting. Please keep one copy of your form and return the other to a BLL board member in person or scan and email to [email protected]. 
LiveScan is mandatory and done only one time provided there is not a 2+ year lapse in volunteering with BLL. Should you have a lapse you will need to complete the LiveScan again.  

•Upload a copy of your driver’s license.

•Complete the Little League International Abuse Awareness Training.

All tournament managers and coaches chosen for All Star tournament play must also complete the Little League International Diamond Training Program. 
Completion of this course is required for all tournament managers and coaches. After completing the program the first time, volunteers are strongly encouraged to go back to review all the content and resources available within the Diamond Leader course, however, they are only required to complete the program once and will only receive one certificate that will be valid for tournament coaching eligibility. Please print certificate and return to BLL BoD President upon completion.
